I did a few more tests and I think the problem is the G. If I press G, it changes the rotation angle of a bond and Control + G did the same thing. Do you have any clue what could be the problem?


Well, Shift G does a Reverse JED Flip (as does Ctrl Shift G) - that sounds similar to what you are seeing. Perhaps you have the Caps Lock key pressed?

Ctrl-G is a built-in in Coot 0.9.x (which I presume that you are using) and can't be changed.

For Ctrl-G to work, you need to have focus in the main window and the active residue (the residue at the centre of the screen) is in the same molecule as the residue to which you wish to "go to."
