Dear Colleagues, The Hao Wu lab at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA (https://www.wulab.tch.harvard.edu/) has openings for postdoctoral positions to study structures and functions of supramolecular complexes, especially those in the inflammasome pathway, using a combination of cryo-EM, cryo-ET, cellular imaging and other biochemical, biophysical and cell biological techniques. These positions are available immediately as many lab members recently moved on to independent academic and industry jobs.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Structural Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with an excellent track record from their graduate studies. Good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively are important for these positions. Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, and will be based on the new Harvard Medical School postdoctoral stipend scale that is significantly higher than the NIH scale. For those starting their first year of postdoctoral training, the scale is 60,000 for fiscal year 2023 and 65,000 for fiscal year 2024.
