Dear Ines, The latest version of DSSP (https://github.com/PDB-REDO/dssp) also annotates the coordinate file in pdb or mmCIF. Note that mmCIF is preferred as you can do a more complete annotation. The latest version of mkdssp will be in CCP4 version 8.
