Postdoctoral position opening in structural biology
Dear fellow crystallographers, An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available in the Shamoo lab (Department of BioSciences at Rice University). Our research is focused on the structural and biochemical basis for antimicrobial drug resistance by multi-drug resistant pathogens. Successful candidates are expected to have experience in protein purification, crystallization and structure determination. The breadth of research in our group is very broad extending from in vitro experimental evolution, genotype to phenotype mapping at the cellular level all the way to macromolecular crystallography so lab members must be able to work well with others from diverse research areas. Applicants must have a Ph.D and experience in a relevant area of structural biology. Ancillary areas of knowledge in biochemistry, cryoEM and/or membrane protein characterization could also be helpful. If you are interested in the lab here is our website: https://shamoolab.rice.edu/ Applicants must apply through the university posting at: https://jobs.rice.edu/postings/25590 If you have questions you can email me directly at sha...@rice.edu <mailto:sha...@rice.edu> I hope all the ccp4bb community is well and staying safe, Yousif Yousif Shamoo, Ph.D. Vice Provost for Research Rice University MS 603 PO Box 1892 6100 Main Street Houston, TX. 77251-1892 (Ph) 713-348-5493 (F) 713-348-4105 ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the CCP4BB list, click the following link: https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/WA-JISC.exe?SUBED1=CCP4BB&A=1 This message was issued to members of www.jiscmail.ac.uk/CCP4BB, a mailing list hosted by www.jiscmail.ac.uk, terms & conditions are available at https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/policyandsecurity/
