A postdoctoral position is available in Dr. Fang Li's lab at the Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences, University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Research involves structural and biochemical studies on the cell entry mechanisms of coronaviruses as well as drug and vaccine developments against coronavirus infections. Requirements include a strong background in molecular biology and protein biochemistry. Expertise in structural biology (cryo-EM or X-ray crystallography) is not required, but will be preferred. Candidates must have completed PhD at the time of the appointment. The initial appointment would be for 1 year, with renewal opportunities for several additional years.
