Dear Colleagues,
A few joint postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratories of Dr.
Juan Du and Dr. Wei Lü at Van Andel Institute. The Du lab and Lü lab are
interested in understanding how human body senses external stimuli, conveys the
signals to the brain and generates responses via ion channels. To address these
fundamental questions, our lab uses a diverse set of approaches to study the
structure and function of these ion channels by combining single-particle
cryo-EM, patch-clamp electrophysiology, X-ray crystallography, and other
functional approaches. The cryo-EM facility at Van Andel Institute host a Titan
Krios equipped with a K3 camera, and a Talos Arctica equipped with a K2 camera.

Experience in structural biology, membrane protein biochemistry, or ion channel
electrophysiology are preferred, but not required. Interested individuals
should send a CV and a cover letter to Wei Lü (wei...@vai.org). For more
information, please visit our lab website: dululabs.com
