When reporting issues with Coot it's often a good idea to tell us which
version you are using, from where downloaded it and on which operating
system and desktop you are trying to use it. For the record, I don't
support ccp4 builds of Coot, but sometimes I help out.
My guess is that this is some sort of Fedora system - try changing your
desktop theme.
