Hi Joseph, Apologies for not answering your question really :-) But, unless you plan to focus on very peculiar insect cell proteins, I would suggest considering HEK cells. See PMID: 30455477 for one of several possible systems. Cheaper, easier, wave bag-friendly... Overall better than insect, especially for membrane and secreted proteins. All vectors are with Addgene, early passage cells from ATCC.
