Hi, We are looking to get a tabletop ultracentrifuge. There are two companies to choose from, Beckman and Thermo Scientific (Hitachi). I have positive experience with the older Beckman model, TL-100, that I used long time ago. However, we don’t have any experience with the new Beckman models (Optima MAX-XP and MAX-TL) or with the Thermo Fisher one (MTX 150). We would be grateful if we could get the feedback on how reliable the new models are and whether people have preference for one company versus the other (service support etc).
