I have one Laboratory Research Assistant/Specialist position available in my 
laboratory at University of Maryland, Baltimore. This is an opportunity to join 
a dedicated research team working  to understand structural basis of 
Fc-mediated effector function of antibodies to HIV. We are looking for a highly 
motivated individual to perform routine laboratory maintenance and research 
activities such as: general housekeeping, ELISA assays, preparing solutions, 
media, stains, and buffers; cultures, executing biochemical procedures such as: 
electrophoresis, blotting, chromatography, DNA extractions, protein expression 
and purification etc. Salaries are competitive and based on the level of 
experience of the applicant. We are looking for applicants with a Bachelors or 
Masters degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or a related subject with 
experience working in a scientific laboratory.
