Dear All,

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled computational method
developer to fill a Post-Doctoral Researcher (PDR) position in the
Computational Crystallography group of MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology
(MRC-LMB) from January 2018. The position is a part of the multi-partner
project "Validation Tools for Cryo-EM" funded by Wellcome Trust. The other
members of the project are EBI-Cambridge, Francis Crick Institute, Birkbeck
College, CCP-EM at the Harwell Research Complex and The University of
Manchester.

The successful candidate will work on the development of mathematical,
statistical techniques and software components for validation and refinement of
multiple atomic models vs multiple single-particle Cryo-EM maps. The PDR will
benefit from the outstanding scientific environment present in the LMB. He/she
will also participate in international scientific conferences and teaching
workshops to present and teach the developed techniques and software.

MRC-LMB is one of the birthplaces of molecular biology and computational
structural biology (http://www2.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/) located in Cambridge, UK.
MRC-LMB has rich history and traditions in basic research and method
development in molecular and structural biology.

Applicants must have PhD or due to complete PhD within 6 months in
computational sciences and experience in software development.
