Hi Rohit,

Click on the tblastn tab and repeat your search. For database chose
trascriptome shotgun assembly or whole genome shotgun contigs. This will search
in organisms for which sequencing data exist, but for which they are not yet
fully assembled. It will probably not give you the complete full length
sequence though.

If that fails then either no organisms of that phylum have been sequenced and
partially assembled or that protein is absent in that clade.

Dear all,

Sorry for very OFF topic

I am looking for a sequence (Know sequence) of a protein among all the
organisms lies under the single phylum (for example LABYRINTHOMORPHA ).

I did blast but it always gives me No significant similarity found..

Can anyone help to find out these sequences?

Please let me know if you need any information regarding this query.

Thank you in advance
