Dear CCP4ists, My group is seeking highy motiviated applicants to apply for a Post-doctoral Research Associate position. This position, available starting in February 2017, is initially for twelve months with the possibility of further extension.
My group studies the structure, function and dynamics of large macromolecular complexes involved in cell homeostasis using primarily cryo-electron microscopy. We are looking for applicants with experience in structural biology, good knowledge of model-building being a plus. Experience in electron microscopy is not required. We are located at the CUNY Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC), in the heart of Manhattan. The ASRC offers a highly interactive and collaborative environment that integrates structural biologists with colleagues in neuroscience, photonics, nanoscience and environmental sciences. Combining world-class experts in these areas with state-of-the-art instrumentation both at the ASRC and at the adjacent New York Structural Biology Center, including several FEI Titan and Krios cryo-electron microscopes, the ASRC offers a unique opportunity for research programs to flourish among normally-disparate fields. Applications should be submitted through the following link: https://home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu/psp/cnyepprd/GUEST/HRMS/c/HRS_HRAM.HRS_CE.GBL?Page=HRS_CE_JOB_DTL&Action=A&JobOpeningId=16288&SiteId=1&PostingSeq=1 Please feel free to share this to interested parties.
