Dear all, Two postdoctoral research associate positions are immediately available for highly motivated, well-organized scientists in Prof. Limei Zhang's group at the Dept. of Biochemistry and the Redox Biology Center, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA (http://biochem.unl.edu). The research in the Zhang Laboratory focuses on the structure-mechanism relationships of metalloproteins in the stress response and pathogenesis of Mycobacteria using non-pathogenic bacteria as models. Multi-disciplinary approaches are used in the studies, including synchrotron radiation-based X-ray diffraction and spectroscopy, molecular biology and computational modeling. Applicants must have a recent PhD degree (or expected soon) and proven skills and experience in either molecular biology or protein crystallography. Candidates with excellent communication and collaborative skills are desirable. The position offers competitive salary and benefits package.
