Postdoctoral fellowship in tuberculosis drug development The Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow with experience in medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, biochemistry and structural biology to work on the development of anti-virulence drugs as a new strategy to control tuberculosis. The fellow will join Professor Stewart Cole’s laboratory in the Global Health Institute (http://cole-lab.epfl.ch/) and be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. The project involves lead optimization, cell-based inhibition assays, determination of target structures alone and in complex with inhibitors, target engagement assays, PK/PD and activity studies in animal models. The position is available for three years from January 15th 2017 and salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.
