Dear colleagues, Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the Liang laboratory at Emory University School of Medicine. The principal goal of the Liang laboratory is to scrutinize high-resolution structural details and to understand the molecular mechanisms of large assemblies using integrated approaches of single particle cryo-EM and x-ray crystallography. We are searching for talented and motivated postdoctoral candidates with the experiences in structural biology to work on proteins and RNAs involved in the RNA synthesis machinery of RNA viruses.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in the biology-related field. Preferred candidates should enjoy working as part of an active research team, and have expertise in one of the following aspects: single particle cryo-EM, macromolecular crystallography, biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, microbiology and virology.
