Dear Ian,
I guess I was asking that Gui2 and other packages make what you describe
as the default, not something that requires overriding defaults. Better
to be in the main packages than everyone having to reproduce what you
have done at Astex. Not everyone codes as well as you.
If a synchrotron gives an mtz file with an Rfree set then inexperienced
researchers and probably some "intelligent" workflows will have a
tendency to carry on with this set. I agree with Gerard data processing
is the wrong place to do it.
