Dear All, Several post-doctoral positions are available in the Laboratory of GPCR Biology in the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering at the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India. The positions are funded by the Wellcome Trust - DBT India Alliance for a period of up to five years. The positions offer opportunities to work on X-ray crystallography of selected GPCRs and their signaling complexes in order to visualize the specific signaling conformations of these receptors. Project activities include construct design and characterization, protein expression and purification, and structural determination of target receptors. We are seeking highly motivated recent graduates with Ph.D. in structural biology who have a track record of solving X-ray crystal structures of proteins and protein complexes. Experience with protein crystallization, data collection, structure determination and interpretation are essential.
