Thanks, Role and Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly motivated scientist in computational structural bioinformatics to further expand our current in house-structural database and develop new methods and protocols for structural modeling, structural dynamics, protein-protein binding and variant analysis. The main responsibilities include analyzing and interpreting structure-function relationships, supporting the clinical reporting team and assisting R&D in developing new assays. For more information see http://ambrygen.com/careers/structural-biologist Education and Experience Requirements: Education and Experience Requirements: *PhD in Computational Structural Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry or a closely related field. *Candidates must have a thorough and ongoing knowledge of current theories and principals of computational structural biology (bimolecular modeling and dynamics). *Experience in programming (Perl, Python, R, bash, C/C++, java) and databases in Linux/Unix environment. *Knowledge of human genetics, statistics, bioinformatics databases, and computational tools in membrane protein analysis are preferred. *You must have excellent time management as well as oral and written communication skills. *Ability to quickly and effectively operate, communicate and influence decision making within cross-functional and multi-disciplinary clinical genetics team.
