Hello, I recently installed the CCP4 suite on my 2013 Macbook Pro with Retina display running Mac OS X 10.9.4. Using the package manager for OS X, it seemed to install and update just fine. The latest version of XQuartz (2.7.7) provides X11. I can open CCP4 and the refmac window since the refinement module is displayed by default, but it crashes if I try to select a different module. The diagnostic report for the crash is attached to a ticket I created on the XQuartz site ( http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/ticket/2027#no1).
Has anyone else encountered this problem or had more success getting ccp4 to run on one of these notebooks? Thank you, Jeremy Caron
