Dear Faisal, when you start hkl2map, it opens a welcome window at the bottom of which you find its reference.
The shelxc reference can be found through the shelx web page which lists a number of related open access papers at http://shelx.uni-ac.gwdg.de/SHELX/openaccess.php including http://dx.doi.org/10.1107/S0907444909038360 for shelx c/d/e I find the page http://journals.iucr.org/e/services/stdswrefs.html from the IUCR with a list of standard software references very useful.
