When giving autoSHARP the reflection data in MTZ format, you also need to tell it the column labels for the required items: F, SIGF, DANO, SIGDANO and (optional) ISYM. Remember that MTZ files can contain more than a single set of amplitudes, anomalous differences etc. It looks as if you left the defaults ("FP") while selecting your own MTZ file that uses different column names? What does % mtzdmp /usr/local/sharp/users/sharp/None.sharp/datafiles/xxx.mtz give you as column names (table towards the end)? You can make your life easier by using a SCALEPACK formatted file (*.sca) as input to autoSHARP: since that will only contain a single dataset you don't need to specify anything else. Hope that helps Clemens PS: you might want to ask on the sharp-discuss mailing list or have a browse the SHARP/autoSHARP wiki for tutorials etc ... more info at www.globalphasing.com/sharp/. -- *************************************************************** * Clemens Vonrhein, Ph.D. vonrhein AT GlobalPhasing DOT com * * Global Phasing Ltd. * Sheraton House, Castle Park * Cambridge CB3 0AX, UK *-------------------------------------------------------------- * BUSTER Development Group (http://www.globalphasing.com) ***************************************************************
