two full time tenure track positions as Assistant Professors. Each position is 
an outstanding opportunity to establish a vigorous program in structural 
biology that involves protein crystallography, protein NMR, and/or high 
resolution electron microscopy studies aimed at furthering our understanding of 
the three-dimensional structures, mechanisms of action, and functions of 
macromolecular biomolecules and assemblies. A special-purpose electron 
microscopy suite with modern cryo-scopes is already in place and numerous 
high-field NMR spectrometers with both solution- and solid-state capabilities 
are available. Applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D., or foreign equivalent, 
with expertise in biosciences. University of Washington faculty engage in
