The operating system you are mentioning is unobservable, non causal and has a response time far greater than one second. To me, as an engineer, these are all very serious problems. Here we run CentOS on the xtal-related workstations and graphical software like pymol (even in 3D stereo) work fine. Best regards, Francois.
