I read the first part of the page you linked to. I'm not sure what the decent into troll etymology says about the CCP4BB community--especially in response to your seemingly innocent post.
My understanding is that the goal of the CCP4BB is to educate and not belittle the naivety of other members of the community. I hope I am not alone.
