Dear ccp4-ers,

We seek for a highly motivated Ph.D.-student willing to learn eagerly, live
in Barcelona (Spain) for some years, and contribute with an enthusiastic,
collaborative and creative attitude to research. The technical skills
acquired by the student during the PhD will encompass cloning, heterologous
overexpression, purification, crystallization and structure determination by
X-ray diffraction methods. Electron microscopy and further biophysical and
biochemical methods will be considered in order to better characterise the
proteins and their complexes.


The candidate should have a degree obtained less than three years ago in
Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, and Chemistry or related, which entitles
him/her to embark on a Ph.D. The candidate should have EU-citizenship.
