Dear Madhu,

While I cannot be certain without knowing what detector was used to collect your diffraction image, ".osc" is the usual suffix for Rigaku detectors and these will normally be read automatically by mosflm (just use the "image" keyword with Mosflm, or use iMosflm and select the image).

If for some reason this does not work, and you let me know exactly what detector was used, it may still be possible to read the image with the correct combination of keywords.

Best wishes,

Andrew Leslie

Hi there,
I would like to know how to convert a .osc file to .img file which can be then read by mosflm or ccp4 programs so that it can be indexed and integrated.
Thanks!
Madhu
