Hi Afshan, you didn't mention the resolution, which is essential. For ultra-high resolution structures the average B may be well less than 10, and <B> less than ~4-5 is the condition to see the bonding density (see aldose reductase, 1uso, for instance). While a structure at 3.5A resolution may have B-factors larger than 100 or so.
