I can give general info about current stereo LCD solutions, but I
don't know which ones work and/or are supported on Mac OS.
The Zalman monitor may be scarce because it is being replaced by
something newer; the 1680x1050 resolution has been replaced by 1920x1080.
The specs you list appear mistaken, the ZM-M215W is one of the 1920x1080
models.
I don't know about prices or availability.
Newer monitors:
ZM-M215W is a 1920x1080 monitor, 21.5".
Zalman ZM-M240W is also 1920x1080, but is 24".
Older monitors:
ZM-M220W 22" 1680x1050
ZM-M190 19" 1280x1024 discontinued
-----------------------------------------------------------------
As for 120 Hz monitors which work with nVidia 3D vision active glasses:
Older, 1680x1050, 22" monitors:
Samsung® SyncMaster 2233RZ
ViewSonic® FuHzion VX2265wm
Newer, 1920x1080, 23" monitors:
alienware OptX AW2310
ACER GD235HZ
ASUS VG236H (Monitor surface is glossy, not matte)
HP 2310g
Not available yet, but perhaps some time this year:
LG W2363D
ViewSonic V3D241wm-LED (with LED backlighting)
ASUS PG276H (27" rather than 23", but still 1920x1080 resolution)
So far I have one Linux system set up with a Quadro 3800 card and the
Acer GD235HZ monitor. I consider its image quality to be better than CRT
solutions for resolution, sharpness and brightness.

gone up, and its currently not available; my guess this is a US wide lack of
availability?

2) For those with Quadro cards Alienware 23 inch 120 hz display has been
suggested by somebody building a system, but they do not have it installed yet.
Probably there are other flat panels out there for stereo.
Does anybody have experience with 120 hz flat panel monitors and how they
compare to CRTs?
