Dear Frances, You set a brilliant example. I spent the last three days stuck in UK after the BCA meeting and hotels are really not cheap if you don't want to be there in the first place. Staying at a fellow-scientist's home may be much more interesting. That said, I managed to get a seat on the Eurostar today and I'll be very happy to be back home again. Ahum, I mean at the lab again.
