Scientific Programmer Position at the Nucleic Acid Database The Nucleic Acid Database project at Rutgers University is seeking candidates for a scientific programmer position to support development of new tools and database services for macromolecular structure analysis.
An ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in structural biology or computational chemistry and strong programming skills. Demonstrated experience with the following is highly desirable: proficiency in programming languages C++,and Python, design and development of large software application systems; webuser interface development using Java, web service development using SOAP and REST; database application development using JDBC and MySQL.
