For the expansion of our Protein Formulation Team we are looking for a *Technician (100%)* Your responsibilities: You are working in an enthusiastic team that is dedicated to the discovery and development of innovative antibody fragment based therapeutics. For the optimization of therapeutic lead candidates you will be responsible for the following tasks: - screen protein formulations - analyze protein properties with spectroscopic and other techniques (size exclusion chromatography, RP-HPLC, differential scanning calorimetry, FT-IR) - crystallize proteins for structure determination - compile reports for documentation Your profile: - You are a technician with experience in protein chemistry, structural biology, biophysics or formulation of biologics. - You have practical and theoretical knowledge of protein analytics, including methods such as UV-Vis absorbance spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and master basic techniques such as SDS-PAGE. - Experience with protein lyophilization would be a plus. - The ability to work independently and to design and accomplish experiments with high precision and reproducibility is essential. - You are well organized and have strong interpersonal skills. - Good command of English.
