Postdoc Position at UCSD:
A full-time postdoctoral position is available at UC San Diego. We
are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to
join our laboratory. We are interested in structure-function studies
of Protein-DNA and Protein–RNA complexes using a combination of X-
ray crystallography, biochemical, and biophysical techniques. (For

Successful candidates should have received a Ph.D. degree in
structural biology, biophysics, biochemistry, or related discipline.
Applicants with strong background in cloning and expression of
recombinant protein in bacterial, yeast or insect cell systems,
large-scale protein purification, macromolecular crystallization and
structure determination are preferred. Applicants with a strong
background in protein and nucleic acids biochemistry are
particularly encouraged to apply. Good written and oral
communication skills are essential.
