Structural biology at Syngenta is at an exciting stage with opportunites to work on several projects with the aim of influencing the chemistry design of new agrochemicals. We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow with a degree/PhD in biochemistry or equivalent who is enthusiastic about working across the range of protein crystallography activities, from protein production to structural solution of proteins and protein-ligand complexes. The successful candidate will have experience in protein production, crystallisation and, ideally, in data collection, structure solution, and refinement. Candidates will need to demonstrate enthusiasm, flexible teamworking, and a tenacious approach to delivering structural solution outputs to projects. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate structural knowledge to a meaningful output for multidisciplinary project teams are highly desirable qualities for this post.
