OXION is a research initiative grouping 25 UK laboratories based in Oxford, Cambridge and London and aimed at structural and functional characterisation of ion channels (http://oxion.dpag.ox.ac.uk/).
Two training fellowships (at the junior or senior postdoctoral level, application deadline: Nov 14th, 2008) and up to four graduate studentships (application deadline: Jan 9th, 2009), generously funded by the Wellcome Trust, have been recently advertised.
