Diamond Light Source is the new UK synchrotron facility, located
on the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in South Oxfordshire.

We are looking to appoint a Post Doctoral Research Assistant to
support macromolecular crystallography and soft condensed matter
scientists targeting the development of rational methods for improving
results in the preparation of macromolecular crystallography samples.

The successful candidate will participate in the commissioning of
the I04-1 beamline, targeting ligand-binding macromolecular
crystallography experiments. A major aspect of the project is to apply
nanotemplate crystallisation methods developed recently to study
the practical implementation of such methods in a protein
crystallisation
pipeline.

We offer a competitive salary (dependant upon skills, qualifications
and experience), comprehensive benefits, an index-linked pension
scheme and flexible working hours.
