Appointment will be made to either: Ref: E3364 - Salary Grade 7 - £28,289 to £32,796 per annum or, Ref: E3365 - Salary Grade 8 - £35,837 to £40,335 per annum (Salary effective from 1 August 2007) Available immediately The Department of Biochemistry has a permanent position for a postdoctoral scientist to provide high level computer support for the structural biology research groups. This will involve the administration of UNIX/Linux workstations, installation and development of appropriate software, training of research students and collaboration in the development of research projects. Candidates will only be considered for the Grade of the position to which they apply. Careful consideration should be given by each candidate to the person specifications for the Grade 7 and Grade 8 role before deciding which to apply for.
