That is a confusing message. I can't imagine how you got it if you simply installed a binary package :-/ However, that code path does mean that Coot failed to get a hardware stereo graphics context, which leads me to think that it's a hardware issue, not software. (Oh, we are talking about 0.3.3, aren't we?) Paul.
