Two postdoctoral positions are available in the Department of
Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical
School starting Fall 2007 in a newly-opened laboratory to study the
structural mechanisms regulating bacterial signal transduction. In
addition to a recent Ph.D. the ideal candidate will have a strong
background in biochemistry, molecular biology, and X-ray
crystallography, or have demonstrated success in another field and a
strong commitment to learning the crystallographic process.
Resources include a new state of the art X-ray facility and
crystallization robot. New Jersey Medical School is 15 min. from New
York City and less than 2 hours from the National Synchrotron Light
Source at Brookhaven National Laboratory.
