Software Engineer in Protein Crystallography Graphical Model Building in
"Coot"

You will work with Dr Kevin Cowtan and Professor Keith Wilson on a BBSRC
funded project Crystallographic methods and software development in a
high-throughput environment. You should have a background in protein
crystallography and extensive programming experience. You will be
working with an existing, evolving code-base for the building and
validation of biological macromolecules and visualisation of models and
electron density in 3 dimensions. The work involves software
maintenance, user interface work, integration of new code, and
development of new methods.
The post is available immediately for a period of 17 months.
