Jan,ORGX and ORGY do _not_ correspond to the direct beam position for a swung-out detector. Rather, the definition is that they define the pixel of the detector which is closest to the crystal ("DETECTOR ORIGIN"). I believe that this means that in your case they should _still_ be close to 1024,1024 unless you also translated the detector.
IDXREF gives both the "DETECTOR ORIGIN" and the "DIRECT COORDINATES OF DIRECT BEAM". So if you change ORGX and ORGY then make sure the latter numbers get close to what you find with VIEW.
