Protein crystallographer
The crystallography group at the Max-Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine Berlin-Buch is recruiting a protein crystallographer at the postdoctoral level. The position is available for three years with the possibility of extension. It is open immediately; applications will be considered until May 31st, 2007. Our group is primarily interested in structural aspects of protein-DNA interaction (see Khare et al. (2004) Nature Struct. Mol. Biol. 11, 656) and of vesicular transport (see Turnbull et al. (2005) EMBO J. 24, 875; Kümmel et al. (2006) PNAS 103, 12701; Hofmann et al. (2006) TIBS 31, 497), and in the high-throughput structure analysis of disease-related human proteins (see Heinemann et al. (2003) Acc. Chem. Res. 36, 157). To obtain more information about our work, please visit the web site at http://www.mdc-berlin.de/~crystal or contact Udo Heinemann at +49 (0)30 9406 3420 / [EMAIL PROTECTED] We are looking for individuals with a strong research background in all aspects of protein crystallography and a keen interest in the above topics. Please send your application with CV and list of publications to Prof. Udo Heinemann, Max-Delbrück-Centrum für Molekulare Medizin Berlin-Buch, Robert-Rössle-Str. 10, 13125 Berlin, Germany, and arrange for two recommendation letters to be sent to the same address.
