Be careful with this bug: +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ CSCsm23560 Bug Details
OSPF TE tunnel does not replace existing route Symptoms: OSPF TE tunnel does not replace the existing route, which can be verified using the show ip route command. Conditions: The symptom is observed when using the mpls traffic-eng multicast-intact command so that PIM and MPLS-TE can work together in OSPF. The tunnel route will be established but it will not replace the existing ethernet route. Workaround: Use the clear ip ospf process. Alternate workaround: Do not use the mpls traffic-eng multicast-intact command, so that PIM and MPLS-TE do not work together and OSPF tunnel is able to replace the route. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I faced it several times with different IOS releases (12.2S at least).
