Option A (B2B VRF) doesn't really scale in real life unless you're only
doing a few of them.

I'd say Option B is commonly used although I'm not aware of an official
study. You're explicitly trusting the other side to send you the right stuff
though as you cannot filter based on label in IOS (last I checked). No such
problems with option A.
