Hello,

I have a pretty basic mVPN scenario trying to get going. My topology is:

CE1----PE1----P1----PE2----CE2

The BGP-MPLS VPN works fine. I can ping from CE1 loopback (192.168.0.1) to
CE2 loopback (192.168.0.2). After I join a group with ip igmp-join
(233.0.0.1) on CE1, I cannot ping from CE2. This group shows up in the VRF
OIL on PE1 but PE1 never sends a PIM join up to PE2 and to the RP. Should
there be an adjacency across the MTI? As of now, I do not have one.

Here is what I have enabled:

-Multicast-routing and PIM-SM on the P-cloud routers and interfaces with
static RP of P1 loopback
-Multicast-routing and PIM-SM on the PE VRFs and CE routers with CE2
loopback as the RP
-Default MDT of 239.0.0.1 under the VRFs on both PEs.

Any ideas where to continue troubleshoooting?

Thank you,
