That does it absolutely well if I do the trace (trace 7.7.7.7) from the
Branch or HQ and vice varsa i.e.
Branch ------->  (a) PE2 ------>  PE1 (c) -------> HQ. It will avoid the
provider network completely (expected) - only ingress and egress is hit.

But when I do it from the PE2 (trace vrf XXX 7.7.7.7), the hops follow;
PE2 -----> (b) P  -----> {x} PE1 (c) -------> (d)HQ. My {x} is still
untouched. Is there any reason for this behavior?
