Hi everyone,

I am also 60 days count down to the lab, i wanted to ask the same question
everyone has been contributing to...thanks to everyone this is very helpful..

One thing i like to add to whatever preference one chooses is to master these
keys; i learned these in CCNA book :-).. i use them a lot at work and thus i
master few of them...

so at the cli, perhaps after using upper arrow key...at least you need some
text at the cli, try these keys combination and muscle memorize them...

ctr key + x
ctr key + w

ctr key + e

ctr key + d   ( this delete xter the cursor is underneath)

ctr key + a

ctr key + k

I think this will add a "burst" speed to your preference and save more time....

experiment with these keys and discover their functions... i have see Marko
using these key combination in training bootcamp/vLecture all time but only on
routers :)... that tells me how fast he is ....  lol

Any advice for someone who is less than 60 days to the lab exam?

Many thanks!

Hamed

Think this is entirely personal, but I prefer not to use them...getting used to
the real commands is best approach IMO

think about the time you waste by creating the aliases in t-shoot you have no
chance of doing this in config this is ok as your not punished for over-config
but I'd still remove them at the end of the lab personally.
