Morning,

-work on your time management. (avoid tunnel vision)
-work on your speed. (notepad is your friend)
-have a plan on how to quickly identify rtr interfaces, vlans they belong to, switches they connect to.
-solidify your troubleshooting method and stick with it.
-save the last day or two to relax, do as many tshoot scenarios as you can up until the last two days, ideally scenarios involving 3 or more devices.

keep in mind the above work best for me, each person is different. Ahh the nerves; if you find your self overly nervous just before the lab, do some breathing exercises for a min or two to lower your heart rate. once the lab starts your training will take over :) all those months of labs/reading will come to your aid.

best of luck on your 1st attempt.

Well the time is approaching fast now. I have less than a week to go
before my 1st lab attempt. Any advise for the final week of preperation?

My thoughts are to to take it easy, review the online docs, and to not
do any major lab time. Good thing is I have a home lab so over the week
I plan to practice overall configurations to keep my mind in the right
state. I would assume the nerves are natural for 1st attempts.
