Hi there – If we are asked to create an EEM script that generates a syslog event when a certain command is run or an event occurs, how can we verify for 100% sure that the syslog event is generated without a syslog server in the lab to test with? The reason I am asking is that the syslog pattern specified needs to be correct and mistakes can be made.
