Agreed. I have been looking at various packet captures the past two weeks.
Been trying to isolate the source of packet loss between two sites.

It was very helpful to determine whether the loss was within our carrier's
MPLS network or elsewhere.

Long story short, the key is simultaneous captures to correlate the data.
Turns out the latest issue was our own QoS policiers. :-(
